I am the way

St Christopher's

Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." Mark 14:6-7

What can you expect of this church ?

Visit the church on a Sunday and in the morning at 10 am you will find people coming to worship God during a service which embraces all ages, and aims to present the Bible in a way which is relevant to all.   The Bible is the central focus of our worship, and there is communion at morning services each month, and also once in the evening.  Details of our services may be found here.

What we hope you will find when you come to St Christopher's is a sense of the presence of God expressed in the welcome, the worship, and the explanation of the bible. We believe that the church should proclaim the joy and salvation of Jesus Christ , and listen to the Holy Spirit as it guides us both individually and also as a church together.

What else goes on at the church?

There are a lot of week day activities which are often explained and updated in the notices which can be found here

Men's breakfasts happen every so often on a Saturday morning when a traditional English breakfast is served. A speaker spends a few moments with the men chatting through an area of interest.

There are Lent courses and periodic Alpha courses run within the community - watch the news/notices for details.

What does this church believe?

We believe in God, in Jesus Christ as the Saviour of the world, and in the Holy Spirit who brings power, healing and guidance to people today. The bible is the centre of our worship and mission in the church. With the Holy Spirit we are seeking ways to encourage and strengthen all those in our church and parish, so that they may grow to love God through a personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and reflect this in their love for others .

Enquiries to the church can be directed by emailing here.   We will look forward to seeing you at the services.  If you need to find us, we are located here (map).
