Christmas and Candles seem to go together.
As you light your candles this Christmas why not think about the Light
of the
World – Jesus – who came to shine into the darkness so that we could
see the
way through life more clearly and find God’s peace.

locality come together to sing and afterwards enjoy tea in the hall. Just come along
and enjoy the
company.

Christmas Dinner for
the ….
Once again we are
inviting any of our senior
members of the community to join us for a 2 course dinner and some
entertainment afterwards. Great food and nothing to energetic ! Just
food and
fellowship . Transport can be provided to help you arrive and return
safely.
There is not charge but we are grateful for any contributions on the
night to
support this event Please

Traditional carols to
sing, choir and
soloists, and of course lots of candles. Coffee and mince pies
afterwards in
the hall.

This year you will hear
about ‘The Angel who couldn’t
sing’ from the boys and girls in the various groups
including Climbers, Explorers and Scy

before staying on to see in the Christmas Day during our communion
service with
traditional carols.

Our Prayer Area in the church has space for
your prayers to God. Not only is there an area to sit and spend time
quietly
after a service but also there are Post It notes for your special
thoughts and
prayers which you would like others to pray about also.
The money in our Christmas Giving Envelopes
this year will be divided between the Youth Fund ( which assists with
the costs
of running the youth and children’s clubs) and the Senior Project Fund
which is
to support the fellowship and catering projects for the older members
in our
community. Envelopes are available for your gifts to support these two
projects
